Event Day

Location

The ceremony and reception will be at Ko‘olau Ballrooms & Conference Center, located on the island of O‘ahu. The venue sits on top of a lush golf course surrounded by a sprawling mountain range. When you arrive, look for a sign that says "Ko‘olau Golf Club."

Directions

The venue is a roughly 30-minute drive from Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL), or 45-minute drive from Waikīkī (why-key-key), but please allow extra time in case of traffic.

From the Airport (30 min)

Take H-3 Freeway and cruise through the mountains. Exit Kamehameha Highway (Route 83). Turn left onto Kamehameha Highway, and at the first stop sign, turn left onto Kiona‘ole Rd. Follow the road all the way to the parking lot.

From Waikīkī (45 min)

Take H-1 West, and exit at Pali Highway (Route 61). After winding through the mountains and exiting the last tunnel, turn left onto Kamehameha Highway (Route 83). Turn left at the first stop sign, and follow the road all the way to the parking lot.

What to wear

Don dressy aloha attire or dress semiformal

Women

For dressy aloha attire, try flowy palazzo pants paired with a smart top and strappy heels, or don your favorite floral-pattern dress. For semiformal, wear a nice evening dress or well-coordinated separates. Note that the ceremony is on grass, so we recommend avoiding stiletto heels.

Men

For dressy aloha attire, wear a shortsleeve or longsleeve, fitted aloha shirt with long pants. No shorts please. For semiformal, try a crisp button-up shirt with a fitted suit or nice slacks and a belt. In either case, please wear close-toed dress shoes. Suit jackets or blazers are optional.

Schedule

Our big day begins with a short, standing-room* ceremony outside followed by cocktail hour and dinner indoors, all over a sweeping sunset view of the Ko‘olau Mountains. *Limited seats will be reserved for immediate family, and those with mobility issues and young children.

Plan to arrive between 3:30 to 3:45 pm.

Meet us outside on the 10th tee where we make it official.
